Gabriella was born in a town just outside Mexico City. She wasn't even a toddler before her family moved to Miami, Florida where they lived in the Hispanic community for quite a bit. However, they moved once again to Orlando just before Gabriella started high school. There, she met her best friend - Joanne. They did pretty much everything together like high school girls would do, practically becoming sisters and Gabriella spent alot of time at her house. During high school is where she would meet her boyfriend Jason - an on and off relationship due to Jason's military time.

Unfortunately, one day during a trip after they had graduated, the brakes in her car weren't working. The car skidded off, went through the side of the bridge and went to the water. Gabriella was seriously injured in the accident... and her dear blonde friend died from a head trauma which knocked her out, thus drowning her. The image would be in Gabriella's mind, giving her hallucinations and basically driving her crazy. Her parents admitted her to a mental instituion out of state in Oregon, where she would meet a woman like her named Reese. They become friends, despite their fucked up personalities. Then one day an argument ensued over a reason that is not known, and Reese stabbed Gabriella. This gave Gabriella a life threatening injury and she did die from it momentarily, but a parademic bought her back to life. Police questioned her and Gabriella, despite knowing who stabbed her, didn't say anything thus the mystery would be unsolved.

Her boyfriend, Jason, got called up to serve in Iraq, breaking Gabriella's heart. With money she had saved, she would relocate and wanting to change, she got plastic surgery.

Due to the stabbing and her boyfriend's interest in wrestling, she started training. She made her way around indies, finally catching a break in a few good companies here and there. During a conservation with a friend - James Magnum - talking about GEW, Gabriella heard about who was there... Reese Black. She made her way to the promotion where she's currently getting her revenge.

Gabriella's past is quite the mystery - as there has barely been any relevations from it. What happened with her step dad, since it is known that she had a falling out with her mother because of it? Why hasn't she revealed her last name? What happened during her time in the Mexican prison where she had served time? People ask these but the answers have yet to come - and since she's started competing under a butterfly mask following a terrible accident at the end of 2009, Gabriella has become even more reclusive and enigmatic.
