Wrestler History:
The death of his older sister - Erica - who took her own life when he was sixteen years of age sent him slightly off-track from his studies before he realised that she'd wanted nothing more than for him to succeed in the path he chose to follow and wouldn't want him to give up his dream and passion now she was no longer with him. He took up freestyle kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of eighteen and made it his goal to compete at a professional level in mixed martial arts.
The revelation in late 2006 that Kameron and Erica had been involved in an incestuous relationship that had contributed to her depression and eventual suicide destroyed the relationship between Kameron and Mark. Kameron's brother, Cole, had informed Mark of the taboo love affair and as a result, Mark and a few friends jumped Kameron outside of a nightclub, doing a considerable amount of damage and leaving him unconscious in the street. The two were estranged for almost two years following that.
After having little success in his quest to make it into the big leagues of the MMA scene, Mark opted for a different route and began training as a professional wrestler under the tuition of Kameron's old trainer - Troy Ward - in Pittsburgh. Mark first came to GEW with the intention of helping out his cousin who was in trouble, but this proved to be a ruse as Mark turned on Kameron. Mark seems to have learned humility recently, turning himself around, yet he and his cousin are still regularly at each others' throats.
Mark has also found success outside of the ring as the lead singer of the band Critical Acclaim, although they're currently on hiatus while the members pursue other activities. Mark has used this time to win the 2009 Commonwealth Cup tournament, and has proven his worth as a hardcore competitor by winning the Extreme Chaos Championship on three separate occasions.
Born and raised in a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mark Chapman took an interest in martial arts at a young age. He loved to fight. While his cousin, who was more like a brother as they were growing up - Kameron Chase McGrath - was busy trying to reach what most described as a pipe dream, striving to be a professional wrestler, Mark was in and out of gyms and dojos around the state, training in the arts of Judo, Tae Kwon Do and the Shukokai and Shotokan karate styles.
