Wrestler History:
Never being one to live life within reason, Rogue, much like his
trademark put-it-all on the line in-ring gutso, lived life outside the
ring with reckless abandon. Drugs, alcohol, groupies, and a massive
inflation of ego even to known to rebel against his employers if they
tried to pull back on the reigns a bit.
Despite skipping from CAL territory to territory and burning his bridges
everywhere he went, Tommy never failed to garner another opportunity thereafter
because his potential, star power, and in-ring ability are a
promoter's wet dream.
His travels had seen him notch the Keystone Wrestling Federation
Heavyweight Title and the Total Impact Wrestling Tag Team Titles,
though his reputation as an immature, egotistical, self-serving
ticking time bomb began to grow. It then began to trump even his name
as the CAL's young prodigy.
It all came to a head during Tommy's last active stint in wrestling,
working for Total Impact Wrestling out of Virginia, another Coalition
staple. As Tag Team champion there, Rogue was seemingly making the
best opportunity to what was rumoured to be his last chance in big-time
wrestling. Instead, he failed a random drug test. Though failing not
for steriods but for recreational use, it was the straw that broke the
camel's back.
His athletic license was suspended in Virginia (until his two year
prohibition was up) and he was barred from applying anywhere in the
United States. Tommy immediately toyed with the idea of going
overseas, and did a tour for a few weeks over in Japan. A couple
months into his exile he found himself enjoying the part time
schedule - however, after finding out his longtime love interest Moose
was pregnant, Tommy since returned to the US. Now living in Miami
with Moose, raising their beautiful daughter Ashley has been
the order of the day for Rogue, so to speak, in the last few years.
Now, certain elements have converged to draw Tommy Rogue, "The New
Wave Warrior," back to the fold. Able to attain an athletic liscense
from any commission in any major city in the US now as well as Ashley -
now being five - being old enough to go on the road if need be, Tommy Rogue is back in the game. Though Tommy is still at heart that brash youngster sky-rocketing to the top
of the business pissing off everyone who's anyone all the while, he's
also got a support group like never before. A rogue no more, he's a
man with a family.
Tommy Rogue hasn't forged the type of reputation in the
wrestling business his prodigal talent deserves. Though someone who
had paid his dues as fresh-faced nineteen year old literally living
out of what he now endearingly refers to as a 'piece of shit Dodge
Aries,' to being internationally recognized overseas, peaking all the
way to fighting for the prestigious Coaltion of Affiliated Leagues
World Heavyweight Title all in his early twenties took its toll.
