  • Wrestler History:
Wilde made his debut in early 1997, and managed to keep his career viable until a few years ago, when he finally tired of the sport and settled down. Having reached the height of his career in the National Wrestling Council and later, having enjoyed even more success in the Coalition of Affiliated Leagues, the constant backstage politics, shuffling from federation to federation, and the injuries and stress of his years of wrestling got to Wilde, who, as of a few years ago, didn't have the heart for wrestling anymore.

Wilde first debuted under the nickname of Wildlife, but quickly started going by Wilde Tanke - his real name, and his uncle Ace and older sister Rebecca's in-ring last name. Over his career, most of his title belts have been weight restricted varieties, or tag team titles, with him thus far unable to break past of the second top singles title in the federations he's been in, although certainly not for lack of talent.

His time spent touring the CAL saw Wilde pick up numerous cruiserweight and tag team reigns, and he developed a reputation as one of the top tag team specialists in professional wrestling. However years of rocky, back and forth relationships with his friends and peers led to Wilde meeting his long-term partners Moose and later Shelly Hollins, but also falling out with some of the people closest to him, and over time Wilde lost interest in the sport.

However, after helping his old friend and tag team partner Tommy Rogue in the later stages of training Rogue's students, followed by Rogue's recent return to wrestling, Wilde found himself considering a return. With family finances rocked by several slow businesses - attempts at financing movie deals, DVD collections, and such - hit by the late noughties recession, Wilde realized his family was in danger of slipping out of the comfort zone they'd been able to stay in for the last several years.

In Wilde's mind, there was one sure fire way to get the cash and fun flowing again - and Tommy Rogue would be the key to it! Now one of the firmest fan favorites in GEW, Wilde has directed Youthful Image (a team of hungry young rookies) to success in the company - success which Wilde himself has enjoyed on a personal level, becoming capturing the Tag Team Championship with longterm "close friend and nemesis" Maximus_Ordicus.
